Fraud Trial: Court Gives Orji Uzor Kalu 7 Days To Return To Nigeria

All Progressives Congress chieftain, Mr. Kalu has been court-ordered to return to Nigeria to face corruption trial.

A federal high court in Ikoyi, Lagos has ordered a former governor of Abia State, Orji Uzor Kalu to return to Nigeria within 7 days to face his corruption trial.
 
Kalu is facing trial for a N7.65 billion fraud. Presiding Judge, Justice Idris Justice Idris gave Kalu seven days to return to the country to open his defence. He is expected back in court on November 12, 2018.
 
Kalu is currently in a German hospital battling for life after being rushed out of the country last week for Surgery. It was widely rumoured that he fell into a  coma but this was dispelled by his wife, Ifunanya who is currently by his side.
 
She says he is awake and responding well to treatment.
