Ikeja Bus Terminal Reportedly Dismantled After Commissioning By Buhari (Photos)

Lagosians have taken to the social media space to lament the alleged gradual dismantling of the multi million naira Ikeja Bus Terminal earlier commissioned by President Buhari.

Unconfirmed reports have it that the ultra-modern, new bus terminal commissioned by President Muhammadu Buhari is being dismantled gradually without any official explanation from the Lagos State Government.
 
Concerned Nigerians took to Twitter to express their dismay about the project state which was expected to ease transportation struggles in Nigeria.
 

At the time of commissioning, it was hailed as a first class project transforming Lagos into a smart city.
 
The project started and finished by the Governor of Lagos State, Akinwunmi Ambode in March, 2018. The popular talk in town as that other bus terminals were supposed to be constructed to work in concert with that of Ikeja.
 
Rumours have it that bigwigs in the All Progressives Congress in Lagos never endorsed the project from the start and this could be linked to its gradual disappearance.
