The silent war brewing between Ogo Okoye and Nkiru Sylvanus came to the fore when the two Nollywood actresses sighted each other at an event recently in Enugu and quite expectedly, shunned each other.
The cold war between Nollywood A-list actresses, Oge Okoye and Nkiru Sylvanus is not about to end after the two ladies, who met an event recently in Enugu, pretended not to notice each other.
The source of the cold war has been traced to allegations that Nkiru is in a relationship with Oge’s ex husband.
According to industry sources, Oge's ex-husband used to be Nkiru's beau many years ago even before he met the former and once their marriage packed up, he decided to come back to his first love.
Fast forward to few days ago, at the event, it was very unlikely both actress expected to be in the same space at the same time since they'd carefully avoided each other.
Notwithstanding, Oge was said to be in a lively mood, sitting and 'gisting' with another A-lister, Eucharia Anunobi, when Nkiru walked in.
Nkiru, who is acting Director General of the Imo State Film Academy, reportedly moved towards where her colleagues were and greeted all of them, except Oge. The latter too kept a straight face and behaved as if she has never met Nkiru before.
Thereafter, seeing her 'rival' was one of the guests, Nkiru made sure her presence was felt as she laughed out loud at jokes irrespective of whether it was funny or not. She also strolled from one corner of the room to the other with an I-don't care attitude obviously in a bid to evoke a response from her colleague.
Oge, on her part, maintained her cool and just stayed at a corner for the better part of the event.
