Controversial and outspoken lawmaker, Dino Melaye, has publicly alleged that a suspect who was arraigned with him few months ago, has died in Police custody.

Nigerian Senator and member of the 8th National Assembly, representing Kogi West Senatorial district, Dino Melaye, has taken to his Twitter page to raise an alarm.
The Nigerian politician and chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party alleged that one of the suspects arraigned with him for illegal possession of arms, has died in police custody.
"Nuhu Salisu AKA Small has died in questionable circumstances in police custody. He is one of the 2 suspects arrainged along with me in the case of conspiracy and illegal possession of fire arm. Both suspects have since denied b4 d court knowing me or getting any fire arm from me," Dino wrote.
Recall that in March 2018, Dino Melaye and two others, 31-years-old Kabiru Saidu, a.k.a Osama, and 25 year old Nuhu Salisu a.k.a Small, were
arraigned in court for illegal possession of arms.
Dino Melaye's allegation comes few days after the Nigerian Police annouced that the principal suspect in the Offa bank robbery, Michael Adikwu, died in their custody.
