A stupid young girl killed a father and daughter after refusing warning from friends to stop driving and texting before she crashed into a minivan.
The girl, Carlee R. Bolling, 17 allegedly told her three passengers to "f*** off" before she ran a red light and crashed. One of Bollig's passenger Caysi Jaronske, 17, reportedly told police that friends had asked her to stop texting and updating Facebook on at least "eight or nine occasions," Prosecutors also said the girl was driving without a licence and refused to listen to passengers who told her to slow down.
The teenager rammed into a minivan carrying Charles Maurer and his two daughters and their friend. 54-year-old dad-of-three died at the hospital. His 10-year-old daughter, Cassy died 10 days later after suffering sever head injuries. Maurer's oldest daughter and friend, both, 15, survived the accident with injuries.
After killing the father and daughter in the accident, Bolling reportedly asked her boyfriend Deven Garlock, 18, to say he was driving because he was the only one with a valid driving licence. Forensic evidence and DNA from blood and hair in the car, later revealed that Bolling was the one behind the wheel.
According to the police, a small amount of synthetic marijuana and drug paraphernalia was found in the car. Bolling has been charged with two counts each of criminal vehicular homicide and criminal vehicular operation, texting and driving, and driving without a valid license.
Police said she caused the accident due to carelessness and her refusal to listen to advice.
