In a shocking event, a mother in Germany pushed her son in front of a moving train in an attempt to kill him.
People were shocked when a mother pushed her 11-year-old son in front of an oncoming train to die. The boy, named only as Leon, had his leg crushed under the wheels. It took emergency services almost 40 minutes to free the child, who was conscious throughout the ordeal.
His mother, identified as Jana, tried to flee the scene but was apprehended by the police. Hamburg police told newsmen that the boy was taken to the hospital where he remains in a severe condition after the incident which happened at a station in Hamburg, Germany.
Local media reports that the boy's leg had to be amputated. Police is yet to confirm it. The mother of the boy is undergoing a psychiatric evaluation to determine if she has a psychological condition.
