Nicki Minaj finally speaks on relationship with her convicted murderer/rapist boyfriend
Nicki Minaj, 36, has defended her relationship with Kenneth Petty, 40, a convicted murderer and s-x offender.
The rapper, who recently made her relationship official, said she will not let critics “run my life”.
Kenneth is believed to have been Nicki’s high school sweetheart. He has spent time in jail for attempted rape of a 16-year-old girl. He was also 16 at the time.
According to TMZ, Nicki got defensive when she admitted her new man had done something wrong.
She wrote online: "He was 15, she was 16 … in a relationship. But go awf, internet. y’all can’t run my life. Y’all can’t even run y’all own life. Thank you boo."
Sources close to Nicki say she’s confident Kenneth has matured since his time in NY state prison in the late 1990s. Nicki believes in second chances and has faith he’ll be good to her.
