President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the removal of the head of service of the federation, Danladi Kifasi with immediate effect.

According to Sahara Reporters, Kifasi has been asked to proceed on terminal leave. No replacement has been announced yet.
A letter signed by the SGF reportedly asked Kifasi to proceed on terminal leave starting from today.
According to presidency sources, a replacement will be announced later in the week .
