A Nigerian woman identified as Mrs Bolanle Ayeni has told of how she welcomed a baby many years after marriage.
The woman testified on Sunday before members of the City of David parish Redeemed Christian Church of God, Lagos. She revealed that she became a mother through surrogacy.
According to Mrs Ayeni, she and her husband got married in 1997 and after waiting for 18 years, decided to try the route of surrogacy.
They found a lady here in Nigeria who took in for them and helped carry their baby.
When the surrogate mother was close to her due date, she was flown to the U.S. where she gave birth to a healthy baby girl.
