American rapper, 50 Cent is presently enmeshed in a criminal investigation after a Jeweler accused 50's goons of pistol whipping him and stealing a watch and chain (which he wanted to sell to the rapper) worth $250k.
Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson has got himself embroiled in a criminal investigation after a guy claims the rapper's goons pistol whipped and stole from him some blings said to be worth $250,000.
The accuser, Robert Marin, who owns LAX Jewelry Co., tells TMZ he went to Vegas at the weekend when the 'fight of the century' between Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao held because he wanted to sell the rapper a watch and chain worth a quarter of a million dollars.
Marin says he met 50 Cent at Drai's nightclub, showed him the jewelry, which he claimed the rapper was interested in but they didn't agree on the selling price.
Marin says they stayed at the club until the early hours of Saturday when 50 Cent's crew, who are no strangers in Mayweather's home, invited him to see the boxer's training gym - an offer he couldn't refuse. Who, in their right senses could anyway?
Marin claimed when they arrived, things turned ugly as two of the rapper's guys pistol whipped him, stole the jewelry and fled.
Marin has since filed a robbery report and Vegas cops are investigating.
In a swift response, 50's people say Marin's story is all lies. His attorney, Scott Leemon told TMZ, "On behalf of 50, I can adamantly deny that he or his security had anything to do with these baseless and false allegations"
