President Muhammadu Buhari has said that he did not comment on the allegations of bribery against Kano State Governor Umar Ganduje simply because the Kano State House of Assembly has waded into the matter.

He also noted that he has not been to Kano State since the video alleging Ganduje as taking bribes from contractors was leaked.

“Hopefully, by the time I go to Kano for my campaign, I will have the information,” Buhari said.

Buhari spoke at the Town Hall Meeting where the 2019 presidential candidates and their running mates have been scheduled to respond to questions about their manifestos.

Moderated by Kadaria Ahmed, the live event is hashtagged #NGThe Candidates.
