A man has met an unfortunate end in Imo state after he was brutally shot dead this morning.

A man has lost his life after he was shot dead by suspected armed robbers earlier today in Imo state.
It was gathered that the hoodlums attacked the man along Owerri-road in Okigwe area before shooting him dead in the course of a robbery operation.
The robbers immediately fled the scene after gunning down the victim.
The incident which caused panic in the area was contained by men of the Nigerian police force who arrived the scene to evacuate the corpse of the victim.
