Kennis Music boss, Dayo Adeneye popularly known as D1 is set to be made a commissioner in his home-state as a letter has been forwarded to the state House of Assembly to that effect.

At a plenary yesterday October 22nd, the Speaker, Rt.Hon. Surajudeen Ishola Adekunbi read out a letter from the Governor of Ogun State, Sen. Ibikunle Amosun, wherein names of five additional commissioner nominees to be screened today October 23 were contained.
The following names are: Mrs. Modupeola Mujota, Mr. Adedayo Adeneye, Mrs.Adenrele Adesina, Mr. Babajide Odubanjo and Mr. Adewale Oshinowo.
It would be recalled that the music label mogul had earlier sought and failed to get his party's nomination for a House of Assembly ticket.
