The leadership of the Nigeria Police Force has revealed it can't investigate the rampant stealing of panties due to the lack of empirical evidence.

There has been rampant stealing of panties for alleged stealing of panties by suspected ritualists and internet fraudsters in Nigeria.
Some of the apprehended culprits have been handed over to the police for investigation and subsequent prosecution.
The Nigeria Police Force have expressed its inability to investigate the stealing of crimes due to the lack of substance in the cases. This was explained via its official Twitter account.
"Stealing of underwear for whatsoever reason is a recent phenomenon, before now, we had cases of rituals killings but we can't investigate things that are not empirically verifiable except when there is convergence of the act like case of murder or an attempt or related crimes," it tweeted.
