Thousands of commuters were stranded Tuesday morning when a container fell on Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, Silverbird TV reports.
The accident occurred on Otedola Bridge on Monday night, according to eyewitness but the container had not been removed as at this morning.
One of the two containers fell right in the middel of the road, causing heavy gridlock for Lagos bound vehicles.
At the time our correspondent arrived the scene, officials of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority, LASTMA just arrived to remove the container.
Lagos-Ibadan Expressway and Otedola Bridge has always been known for such kind of accident from inception.
