Four women were stripped unclad, tied up, burned and beaten on suspicion of witchcraft in a Papau New Guinea village.
In a very disturbing footage, four women were stripped and tortured on suspicion of witchcraft.
The incident is alleged to have happened in the island of Papau New Guinea as the locals inflict tremendous pain on the women after accusations of being responsible for the death of a young man.
A sources on the island said that the villagers believe that the women “invisibly” took the man’s heart, and put it back after they were punished. The disturbing video angry men armed with machetes questioning four unclad women helplessly laying on the ground.
And although they repeatedly denied the accusations, it is believed that at least one woman was killed during the ordeal
Papua New Guinea is often labelled as potentially the worst place in the world for gender violence.
