With the presidential election some days away, some Nigerian soldiers who are expected to be apolitical, according to professional ethics have shown their support for President Buhari.
The partisan soldiers
A group of 4 soldiers were seen doing the 4+4 finger campaign sign of President Muhammadu Buhari in endorsement of his second term.
The picture has irked some social media users who have reminded the soldiers of their normal stance which is supposed to be neutral.
A picture of operatives of the Nigeria Police Force endorsing Buhari in a similar manner also surfaced yesterday.
Many believe the election might not be free and fair with security operatives that will be deployed for the peaceful conduct of the electoral process showing signs of partisanship.
