President Muhammadu Buhari of the All Progressives Congress (APC) is leading from results of the seven local government areas of Kwara state that have been announced so far at the INEC office in Ilorin.
The APC got 11,051 while PDP polled 4,904 from Oyun LGA; APC got 6,079 , just as the PDP polled 6,242 in Oke-Ero LGA; APC had 6,662 while PDP got 5,397 in Ekiti LGA.
In Asa LGA, APC polled 15,976 while PDP got 10,705. In Irepodun LGA, APC got 14,395, as PDP had 10,232.
At Mooro LGA, APC scored 17,534 as PDP polled 7,598 votes.
In Ilorin East, APC led with total votes of 31,039 while PDP got 12,820 votes.
With the results from the seven local governments announced so far, the ruling APC had scored total votes of 102,736 while PDP scored 57,898.
The results show that APC is already leading with 44,838 votes while INEC still awaits results from the remaining nine local government areas of the state.
