Robbie Paxton did the unthinkable by proposing to his girlfriend Tina Troyer on the front page of a newspaper on Friday.
The love-struck man did it to get the attention of his longtime girlfriend. He placed an advert on a newspaper front page proposing to her. He then waited seven minutes - which he described as the longest seven minutes of his life - for his girlfriend to notice the advert.
After waiting for so long, Paxton then decided to ask her if she hasn't seen the proposal on the Repository frontpage, when she shouted a resounding "yes!"
Paxton recalls that the 49-year-old Troyer was thrown off guard when she saw the proposal because she always read the ads inside Repository Newpaper before looking at the rest of the paper. She was totally amazed. The duo described those moments as the best of their lives. Paxton was overjoyed and watched his thrilled girlfriend, Troyer blush and giggle.
