President Buhari and Atiku Abubakar
President Muhammadu Buhari of the All Progressives Party, APC, has won all the 19 locals government areas declared by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, in Katsina so far.
A breakdown of the results, as announced by the state cooalition officer Prof. Fatima Muktar, showed that in Ingawa, Buhari of APC polled 29,230 as against Atiku’s PDP 7,625; Kurfi- Buhari 25,074, Atiku 9,175; Matazu; APC- 27,625, PDP, 9,151 and Daura; Buhari – 37,648, Atiku 4,650.
Other are: Sandamu; APC 29,220 PDP 9025, Rimi – APC 33,361 PDP 8,818; Danmusa 30,011, PDP 7,528; Safana – APC, 26631 PDP 5756; Dutsi – APC 22,774, PDP 5330.
Also, in Batsari, APC got 26774 while PDP had 7916; Kusada- APC 21,071, PDP 6713; Bakori- APC 53,623, PDP 11,931; Batagarawa – APC 37,695, PDP 8,453; Bindawa – APC 35,030, PDP 9623; Musawa – APC 31,690, PDP 6673 Dutsinma – APC 35,700, PDP 10,440; Danja – APC 41,183, PDP 9664, Zango- APC 25,207, PDP 6891 and Dandume- APC 35,699, PDP 6647.
