The Peoples Democratic Party has coasted to victory by defeating President Buhari to win Adamawa state.

In a keenly contested poll, former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has won Adamawa state.
He polled 410,266 votes to defeat President Muhammadu Buhari, the flag bearer of the All progressives Congress (APC) who trailed him closely with 378,078 votes.
