Members of the Lagos state civil service threw caution to the wind earlier today as they scampered for the bags of rice the APC governorship candidate in the state, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, reportedly sent to them as gifts, according to a report by
LIB.
Twitter user @magbeborun who shared photos and video from the scene where the workers were falling over themselves for the bags of rice, wrote:
''Sanwoolu asked to meet Civil servants in Lagos State at Adeyemo Bero Auditorium, Alausa... But we are here struggling to collect Rice. Yes! CIVIL SERVANTS!!!!
These are not thugs my dear, these are civil SERVANTS OF LAGOS STATE!!!!''.
