According to fresh reports emerging last night, the organs of the former Laker's star have been badly damaged after his near-fatal overdose at a Las Vegas brothel that he is on dialysis and may need a kidney transplant.
PEOPLE Magazine reports that Khloe Kardashian's estranged husband caught pneumonia which reportedly left permanent scarring on his lungs.
It was also gathered that he is undergoing dialysis while he is too weak to be considered for a kidney transplant. PEOPLE quoted a source as saying: "The pneumonia was a huge setback, and now there's worry about permanent scarring of the lungs.
"His kidneys are still not functioning correctly, but he's nowhere near strong enough to even think of a transplant, so he's on dialysis."
