A Nigerian man based abroad lost his life in the election fracas after his return to exercise his franchise.

A Nigerian man has been killed after arriving the country few days ago for the governorship and house of assembly elections held last Saturday.
The deceased identified as Uchenna Agugua, who hails from Umuaka community in Imo state was allegedly killed during the elections on Saturday following a mayhem allegedly caused by thugs.
According to one netizen, Gideon Chidiebere, the deceased just came back from Mozambique just for the election before his death.

"Uchenna Agugua, my Brother, why will your destiny end be at the stupid election day. You came back from Mozambique just for election, you wanna stand for a friend now see the end. Politics is a stupid game please my people do not risk your life. RIP brother from Amiyi Umuaka .."
