There was a fire outbreak at a filling station in Sokoto state with properties worth millions of naira being destroyed.

There was panic at the Sokoto state government house yesterday afternoon after a nearby filling station went up in flames. The initial fear was that the fire may have been a terrorist attack which is common in the northern part of Nigeria.
Security operatives were called upon to manage the crisis, and the fire was as a result, put out.
