The Obafemi Awolowo University has honoured music legend, 2Baba for his exploits in the music industry.

Nigerian music mogul, 2Baba Idibia has been honoured with a ‘Fellow’ of the School of Music by Obafemi Awolowo University, Osun State.
The event took place yesterday, 20th of March.
The honour comes in recognition of his contribution to the development of Nigerian music for over two decades.
The “Oyi” crooner attended the ceremony with his wife, Annie and the couple as well as his team paid a courtesy visit to the palace of the Ooni of Ife after they had received the award.
During a chat with the couple, the Ooni of Ife said to Annie, ‘thank you for taking care of 2baba for us’.
