A video has emerged showing the horrifying moment a man had to be rescued with a rope after he suffered an accident in Lagos.
Local reports show that the unidentified man was driving along the road when his car went off the path and ran into a swamp.
In his desperation he called out for help and residents had to pull him out with a rope. The sad incident reportedly happened at the Itolowu area of Ikorodu in Lagos.
It is not known if the car has been lifted out of the swamp at the moment.
