A popular Nigerian actor who travelled to the South-south part of Nigeria to attend the burial of his late mom has passed away.

Nollywood actor, Duke Oliver a.k.a Silvanus of the popular TV series, Dogood, has died in an auto crash while returning from his mother’s burial.
The burial took place on Friday in Akwa Ibom State and Oliver was heading back to his base in Lagos when the accident occurred.
The Nigerian social media space has been flooded with condolence messages from colleagues and fans across the country.
