The Lagos state government is set to tender DNA evidence against Danish man accused of murdering his Nigerian wife.
Peter Nielsen is being held for allegedly killing his wife
The Lagos State Government has secured fresh DNA evidence against a Danish man, Peter Nielsen, accused of killing his wife Zainab and their three and a half-year-old daughter, Petra, according to a report by TheNation.
Director of Public Prosecution (DPP), Titilayo Shitta-Bey, told the court that the fresh evidence was from Nielsen’s DNA samples.
The government accused Nielsen, 53, of beating and smothering Zainab and Petra to death at about 3:45am at No. 4, Flat 17, Bella Vista Tower, Banana Island Ikoyi.
Nielsen denied the charge.
