In this inspiring photo exhibition, breast cancer survivors bare their body to show people what it looks like after surviving. They share their challenges and all they've passed through to survive.
In this photo exhibition, four proud women bare their breast cancer scars to show people what it looks like after surgery. The scars, course of chemotherapy, radiotherapy and all they passed through to survive will encourage others who are faced with same challenge.
Ros Pike, Sue Stokes, Jacky Robertson and Tina Robinson were snapped by photographer Julia Holland, who met them through her charity, Keeping Abreast. All, feature in the Femininity Comes From Within exhibition at Gloucestershire Hospital.
Jacky, 60, from Stonehouse, Gloucs, had a gruelling course of chemotherapy, radiotherapy and a mastectomy. She said: “You don’t know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.”
