A petty thief in the Southeastern part of Nigeria got more than he bargained for after being caught in the act of stealing.
The suspect in question
A man was caught while trying to steal a car battery from a bus at Portharcourt road, Abia State. The incident occurred around 9:30am this morning.
According to the drivers, the thief has made away with more than eight car batteries from their park.
When the theif was asked how he succeeded in stealing the batteries in broad daylight, he said he put the batteries in a big paint bucket so that no one would suspect a thing and thereafter he goes to sell them at Cemetery market.
