A total of 22 candidates have emerged from various political parties in Kogi State to contest in the coming Governorship election in the state, which comes up on November 21st.
INEC released the names with the present Governor, Idris Wada, PDP candidate and APC candidate, Prince Abubakar Audu topping the list.
Others are the immediate past deputy governor of the State, Dr. Philip Salawu of Labour Party, LP; Isah Kamadeen, AA; Dickson Fred, Accord Party; Ukwenya Musa, ACD; Michael Abdullahi, AD; Usman Zainab, ADC; Odufu Friday, APA; Akwu Goodman, APGA; and Yinka Oloruntoba, CPP;
Also on the list are Philip Koleola, DPC; Abubarka Ibrahim, DPP; Ibrahim Adejoh, ID, Raji Ogrima, KOWA, Mohammed Dangana, NCP; Mallam Abdul Hussien, NNPP; Emmanuel Daikwo, PDC; Emmanuel Ozigi, PPA; Dr. Oju Hussein, PPN; Enema Paul, SPD and Saadu Mukailu of UDP.
