A video has emerged on social media showing the shocking moment some passengers were stranded in the middle of river in Lagos after their boat ran out of fuel.
In the video, the passengers are seen fidgeting and talking among themselves as they awaited help.
Local reports show that they remained on the river for about 30 minutes before help finally came. During this time, the passengers were scared for their lives as many could not swim.
The video has since caused a stir on social media as users ask why due diligence was not taken to ensure that the right amount of fuel was on board.
