Spurs star nears Santiago Bernabeu switch
Tottenham midfielder Christian Eriksen has agreed on terms with Real Madrid for a summer transfer, according to AS.
Negotiations between Madrid and Spurs have already begun, with the Danish star set to earn €4 million per year at Santiago Bernabeu.
Eriksen's current deal at Tottenham is due to expire in 2020 and he is valued at around €150 million ($168m, £129m).
Barcelona are amongst the teams interested in signing Juan Mata, The Sun reports, but the midfielder would have to take a pay cut if he wants to make a move to Camp Nou.
Mata's Man Utd contract runs out at the end of the season and it is said the 31-year-old would jump at the chance to play with the Spanish champions.
Should he agree to the move, however, he would earn less than his current £170,000-per-week wages, although decent bonuses and a signing on fee could offset the drop in basic pay.
Arsenal boss Unai Emery has demanded a world-class centre-back this summer.
The Sun claims that Harry Maguire, Toby Alderweireld, Kurt Zouma and Djene Dakonam are all on the manager's wishlist of summer transfer targets.
