While robbing an eating store outlet, a gang of robbers resorted to stuffing staff and customer inside a freezer to enable their convenient get away.
Dare-devil armed robbers invaded Burger King and forced the workers inside a freezer before making away with the money.
Police believe the suspected robbers were former workers at the Burger King and said the robbery was an inside job after they discovered that the back door of the the place was unusually left open.
According to the police, one of the workers has confessed to the crime. Police investigation revealed the holdup was an inside job done by employee, Francis Dunaway, who admitted to the entire thing.
Police Chief Mike Winders said: "She was on at the time but admitted to knowing they were coming and we believe she was the one who was ultimately behind the door being open. The back door opens and three people come in. One of them is armed with some sort of long rifle, possibly a shotgun. They attempt to get money out of the front cash register. It won't open, but they did get money out of the safe,"
Police said she is the one who emptied out the safe while the two other suspects, Guillermo Rojas and Derick Garcia, tried to open the cash register and locked the employees in the freezer.
Dunaway was arrested but Rojas and Garcia are still on the loose. Police believe them to be armed and dangerous, and connected to other robberies.
