It has been reported that a mentally unstable man identified as Eligwe, has been killed after beheading six people in Rivers State.
The incident happen around 11pm on Tuesday, April 30, 2019, in #Ebiriba 2 Community. It was gathered that Eligwe had been tied up by the villagers but his family members later untied him.
Shortly afterwards, he picked up a sharp cutlass and headed to his neighbour’s house, where beheaded four children then put their heads in a bucket.
On his way home, he met and beheaded a septuagenarian. However, the community youth later mobilized and killed him too
The incident has shaken the community as the family of the victims mourn their losses bitterly.
