A great blow has been dealt on the APC in Bayelsa state following the endorsement of the Peoples Democratic Party's gubernatorial candidate, Seriake Dickson by a group under the APC.

Come Saturday, 5th December 2015, the Bayelsa governorship election will hold. As part of the Bayelsa PDP campaign activities, an Operation Wind Up APC programme held at the Peace Park on Saturday, 31st October 2015.
A group which calls itself Forum of Authentic APC Delegates has its banner endorsing the incumbent governor Hon. Seriake Dickson of PDP.
This has been described as a setback to the APC as Chief Timipre Sylva stands as the flagbearer of the party at the gubernatorial polls.
The leadership of the APC in Bayelsa is yet to respond to this report.
