Some Muslims who belong to the Islamic Movement of Nigeria have confronted President Buhari calling him a criminal for killing innocent Nigerians.

Nigeria's President, Muhammadu Buhari has been called a criminal for ordering the killing of innocent Nigerians by members of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria, also known as Shiites.
In a video shared on social media, the Shittes could be seen at the gate of the National Mosque, Abuja, on Friday demanding the release of their leader, Ibrahim El-Zakzaky, and his wife, Zeenah, who had been in detention since 2015.
Although they were locked out, the Shiites used a megaphone to transit their grievances calling the continous detention of their leader by Buhari an evil act.
President Muhammadu Buhari had come to the mosque to observe the Juma’at prayer, as part of activities lined up for the May 29 inauguration, when the Shiites and some youths marched around the mosque.
Some security operatives could be seen stationed at the huge gate, but the Shiites swore that even if they are killed, they will continue to protest.
