Former Governor of Anambra chased out of Maitama mansion for owing N11 million rent

The real question behind this story is if Jim Nwobodo actually had the money and just refused to pay or the former governor is really broke.

Jim Nwobodo, former governor of Anambra State, Jim Nwobodo has been ordered to vacate his rented home in Maitama, Abuja, over his failure to pay his due rent of about N11m arrears.
 
PUNCH reports that the order was given by Justice S. B Belgore of a Federal Capital Territory High Court in Abuja.
 
The property is said to be a six bedroom mansion with one bedroom guest chalet and two rooms boys quarters.
 
The suit against Nwobodo was filed in May 31, 2011 after he failed to pay his rent from June 1, 2009.
