I'm Determined To End Farmers/Herders' Crisis - Buhari

In the next four years, the president assured that he would remain committed to the change agenda of his administration.

President Muhammadu Buhari yesterday reiterated his commitment to end farmers/herders’ crisis in the country.
 
The president gave the assurance when he hosted a ‘special delegation’ from Nasarawa state led by the Governor, Abdullahi A. Sule at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
 
“The incessant conflicts between herders and farmers an age long problem, this administration is determined to find lasting solutions.
 
“I implore all leaders of opinion to help maintain peace while we are putting in place policies and permanent solutions,” he said. The president commended Nasarawa elders and leaders for maintaining peace within the state.
 
“In the last four years, you collectively put aside your political, religious and ethnic differences for the interest of stability and prosperity. We must continue to preach peace and understanding in your various community,” he said.
 
In the next four years, the president assured that he would remain committed to the change agenda of his administration.
 
In an interview, the governor said they came to thank the president for appointing Nasarawa state Indigenes as the Inspector General of Police and the Director General of the NYSC.
