A tragic moment has left mother and father of twins greatly devastated and in deep anguish.
Tragic: little Ella
A distraught woman has told of the heartbreaking moment she found one of her baby twins dead in the cot beside her sister.
Janine Byrom went to feed six-month-old Ella and Lola and found Ella’s lifeless body after the tot is believed to have suffered a cot death. The devastated mum, from Greater Manchester, described how the beautiful twins would hold hands in their cot, and says Lola has changed since Ella’s death on October 21.
She said: “She was very unsettled in the first few days after her sister’s passing. The only time they were ever apart was when they were being bathed. They used to comfort each other and they held hands in the cot. I used to dress them the same and I couldn’t walk halfway down the road without someone stopping me to say they were adorable.”

The family will hold a humanist service to remember Ella and have organised a tea party with baby pink balloons, bunting and cakes to celebrate her tragically short life.
Preliminary tests by the coroner’s service have not confirmed an official cause of Ella’s death.
