Port Harcourt Residents Spotted Digging Up Frozen Chicken Buried by Custom Officers (Photos)

Some photos have emerged online showing Port Harcourt residents exhuming frozen chicken buried by officials of Nigeria Customs Service.

 
A Facebook user posted pictures, revealing that some residents in Port Harcourt on Monday, November 2nd dug out of the ground frozen chicken buried by Customs officer (read the initial report here)
 
The Customs had on Saturday and Sunday dug a pit and buried thousands of cartons of frozen poultry they seized at the Onne Ports. The disposal was carried out near the Trailer Park at Ebubu in Eleme Local Government Area of the state.
 
News soon spread abroad about the development and very early of the following day, the human carrions came calling. With no security at the site, they dug and dug and opened up the pit, helping themselves with the cartons of chicken.
