Governor Lamido and Aliyu, both of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), are obviously keeping a keen eye on Muhammadu Buhari, as they told him to fulfill his promises whether the economy is favorable or not.
The Governors of Jigawa and Niger States, Alhaji Sule Lamido and Dr. Babangida Aliyu, of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, have called on the President-elect, Gen. Muhammadu Buhari to be ready to fulfill his campaign promises and stop making excuses about the economy.
Speaking during the commissioning of the ultra-modern Shiroro Bridge in Shiroro Local Government Area of Jigawa Lamido stated “Whether the economy is favourable or not, do not give us any excuse.’’
“We will not tolerate any excuses because when you were asking for votes and making promises, there were no conditions given.”
“They tried to turn tribe against tribe, brother against brother. They tried to break and distort Nigeria’s harmony raising false hopes. They must fulfill all their promises.”
