The Police in Niger State have arrested three suspects in connection with the gang rape of a 14-year-old girl in the Maitumbi area of Minna.
Northern City News learnt that the suspects, Abdulrahman Ahmed, 19; Isyaku Umar, 20; and Adamu Sani, 20, were arrested by a team of policemen following a tip-off by residents.
It was learnt that the suspects abducted the teenager and took turns to molest her.

The victim’s mother, Amina Abubakar, reported the matter to the police, which led to the arrest of the suspects.
The state Police Public Relations Officer, Mohammad Abubakar, confirmed the arrest, saying the suspects had confessed to the crime and were waiting for their day in court.
