A young boy who stabbed and killed a school prefect is now set to face the full wrath of the law.

The 19-year-old Senior Secondary School student, Saka Ahmed also known as Ejo, of Gaskia College, Amukoko, Lagos, who allegedly stabbed a prefect, Saheed Jimoh, to death on Wednesday for punishing him over lateness, has been arrested by the police.

It will be recalled that trouble started on Tuesday when 19-year-old Jimoh, who was a school prefect, punished Ejo, who only resumed for the term on Monday, for an offence he committed. The punishment meted out on Ejo resulted to a fight between the duo outside the school premises after closing hours when Jimoh stabbed Ejo.

Jimoh was said to have been arrested by policemen attached to Amukoko Division, in his hideout somewhere around the vicinity, at about 6.40pm on Thursday.

Also arrested earlier were six students of the college. The suspect’s father was invited by the Police for questioning. At 2pm., he was still being interrogated by the police.

At the Gaskia College yesterday, normal school activities had resumed as students were seen in their respective classes receiving lectures.
