A horrifying video has gone viral showing the moment a teenage girl punched an 87-year old bus passenger in the face.
The CCTV footage shows an 87-year-old woman allegedly being punched in the face on a bus by a teenage girl.
According to the Police in Croydon, south east London, the incident was a "nasty attack", which left the pensioner with a black eye.
She appeared to be punched by one of two teens, who had boarded the 166 bus without paying, according to Met detectives.
Two girls began arguing with the driver before the incident unfolded, officers said.
The woman can be seen on CCTV standing next to the pair before a hand is raised towards her face, at around 3.20pm on Friday, October 16. A female passenger then came to the aid of the alleged victim, who was taken to St Helier Hospital.
