A gallant Nigerian soldier fighting the Boko Haram sect in the North-eastern part of Nigeria has been felled.
Captain Anthony Tekemeka
A soldier identified as Captain Anthony Tekemeka has been killed by Boko Haram in Borno.
His friend Ibrahim shared the news and wrote:
'RIP our organic coxmate Captain Anthony Tekemeka member of 61rc, killed by Boko Haram in the last attack at Gubio! Maiduguri, Borno state. Coxmate Rest in peace once more'
Over 20,000 have died since the Boko Haram insurgency started about a decade ago. The Nigerian government has announced severally that it has defeated the Boko Haram sect.
