Janet Jackson has announced she will be returning to the entertainment circuit this year with a new album and a world tour.
American singer, songwriter and actress, Janet Jackson, who celebrated her 49th birthday on Saturday, has given her fans the ultimate birthday gift by announcing she will release a new album in 2015.
The announcement was made in a video Jackson tweeted out with the hashtag #ConversationsInACafe, which has been presumed to be the title of her 11th studio album.
"I promised you'd hear it from my lips, and now you will", Jackson, who is married to Qatari billionaire, Wissam Al Mana, said in the 50-second video, filmed in what looks like a recording studio.
She continued: "This year: new music, new world tour, a new movement. I've been listening. Let's keep the conversation going".
Janet's last album titled 'Discipline' was released in 2008 under her Atlantic Records label.
