Controversy as PDP Chieftain is Kidnapped by Gunmen in Kogi State

A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Kogi state has reportedly been kidnapped.

 
The Kogi state PDP Chieftain, Adamu Enape has been reportedly kidnapped by gunmen at Ajegu in Ofu local government area of the state.

According to a report in The Punch, Enape, a member of the Kogi state pension board, was said to have been kidnapped on his way from the governorship campaign tour of Idah in the Kogi-East senatorial district.

Bode Ogunmola, the spokesperson for the party in the state confirmed the incident. 
 
However, William Aya, the police public relations officer, Kogi police command said he had no knowledge of the incident.
