Legendary rapper, Snoop Dogg launches first line of cannabis products that includes eight 'handpicked' strains plus hash oil-infused chocolate bars and fruit gummies...yummy!

At a private event which was held at a private resident on Monday, hip hop mogul, rapper and actor, Calvin Broadus a.k.a Snoop Dogg, launched a cannabis brand named, Leafs by Snoop which includes personally branded marijuana products.
The products are to first be sold exclusively to a licensed Colorado-based company and cannabis shop, LivWell which stocks a range of cannabis flowers, edibles and concentrates before being rolled out to other shops by the end of November.
Snoop Dogg and his assistants showed off their Leafs by Snoop wares at a private Denver launch on Monday.
Leafs by Snoop features eight cannabis strains, available in both flower and concentrates, that includes flavours such as Cali Kush, Bananas, Purple Bush and Blueberry Dream.
Edible products containing THC will also be available in the form of chocolate bars in six different flavours, as well as fruit drops, gummies and chews that have been dubbed 'Dogg Treats'.
Snoop’s statement on the company website upon its product launch reads;
"Wherever my musical journey has taken me around the world, it’s beautiful to see how chronic leafs are a common source of peace, love and soul that connects us all. Leafs by Snoop is my way of sharing the experience I have with the finest quality cannabis one could imagine. Let’s medicate, elevate, and put it in the air!"
Unlike many celebrity perfume or clothing line, Snoop Dogg wants his customers to know that he was involved in every step of the way in the creation of his products. He personally ensured each strain, which will be available for both medical and recreational customers, represented his favorite tastes and textures.
'From the flower to concentrates and edibles, it's all handpicked by yours truly so you know it's the hottest product out there,' he wrote in a statement for Merry Jane.
During the brand launch event in colorado, Snoop said;
"Since I’ve been at the forefront of this movement for over 20 years now, I’m a master of marijuana. Leafs By Snoop is truly the first mainstream cannabis brand in the world and proud to be a pioneer."
According to reports, though Snoop’s name is attached to the brand, as a non-resident of Colorado, the rapper can not technically own Leafs by Snoop.
It can be recalled that Colorado legalised both the medical and recreational use of marijuana in 2012. In September this year, the state had nearly doubled its legal marijuana tax revenue from the year before, pulling in $73.5m (£48.5m).
